Flag Day Celebration

Everyone is encouraged to bring worn American flags for proper retirement. At this Event, we will honor our flag, reflect on the true meaning of Flag Day and consider what it represents to our Nation.

This short festivity will include appropriate music & readings. It will feature a flag Retirement Ceremony  hosted by the West Barnstable Fire Department in accordance with the US Government, Veteran of Foreign Wars and the five branches of the armed forces.

The WB Fire Department will accept flags for this ceremony if you are unable to attend

WBFD Strategic Planning SWOT

An Invitation

You are invited to participate in the West Barnstable Fire Department's Strategic Planning Process by attendinga public SWOT exercise hosted by the Department's Long range Planning Committee and the WBFD. A SWOT exercise is a brainstorming session where you will be asked to provide your opinion on each of four questions:

  1. What are the strengths of the West Barnstable Fire Department?
  2. What are the weaknesses of the west Barnstable Fire Department?
  3. What are the opportunities for hte West Barnstable Fire Department?
  4. What are the threats to the West Barnstable Fire Department?

This SWOT Exercise will be held as follows:

Date:   Saturday, June 14, 2014
Time:  10:30 AM
Where:  The WBFD Fire Station

 

Your input from the SWOT exercise will be used by the Long Range Planning Committee to develope a new 5-year Strategic Plan for the Fire District.
